The blonde sighed, briefly considering fighting and trying to stand up anyway, but Naraske was right. But just sitting and resting in the midst of the Forest Of Death had 'BAD IDEA' written all over it. He shifted, putting his hands together in a tora hand sign and slowly replenishing his chakra in that way. Sure, it would take a while, but it would still allow his chakra sources to regenerate faster then letting them go on their own.
That's when Daisuke heard it, the rustling in the trees and the thump-thump of footsteps leaping along branches. The first jutsu that came to mind was a genjutsu, a simple hiding trick he had learned that cost very little chakra to perform and maintain. Now now, he couldn't have someone come and challenge him and Naraske while they were down, could he?
"Earth style...Meiousei Daku no Jutsu." He whispered, holding the uma sign. Slight waverings of the air, like air cast off of asphalt on a hot day, reached up from the ground and around Daisuke, and he disappeared from sight. If one looked closely, they could see where the grass was blurred from where the boy's transparent figure sat. The same heavy, caressing invisibility slid from the tree trunk to embrace Naraske, turning him translucent as well.
"Most of Konoha's youths don't know this...it should keep us hidden from sight until we've recovered." Daisuke thought, pleased with his own cleverness and glad that the jutsu took such a tiny amount of chakra.

Naraske laughed, he couldn't help it. "Don't worry about me," he said and he struck an inverted tiger hand symbol, "Water style- Repetitive Walk Jutsu." He looked at where the figure of Daisuke had been a moment ago, "Just in case you didn't know, we can walk around them where ever they are and they wont see us. It's one of my favorites," he chuckled.

Daisuke nodded in agreement- his mother had used that jutsu on him a couple times before when she wanted him to entertain himself outside and he had nothing else to do. Sure, it made him dizzy and he got lost somewhere near the Hokage mansion, but the memory was still pretty amusing.
He paled a bit when he saw who it was who was standing on the branch above. The jounin looked around, arms folded over his chest, and sighed. "Those ridiculous ninja who snuck in here for training...I can't believe I was sent to retrieve them. Urgh." The man mused aloud before taking off again.
The blond couldn't help it- he had to press a hand over his mouth at the fact that the man hadn't detected them. So were the jounin of Konoha slipping or were they just lazy?

~Naraske
Naraske looked where Daisuke was looking at, and he laughed. "You do know they can't hear us right? My Genjutsu has them replaying what they saw 20 meters ago, which was after you made us invisible. They can't hear and or see us. All they see is trees, bugs, and snakes." Naraske leapt up the ninja and slapped him, "Now he thinks he hit a branch."

Daisuke snorted in mirth, watching the jounin look around in confusion. That poor jounin was in over his head, looking for the wickedly clever youth of Konoha in the Forest of Death. He heard the sound of chain striking glass a short ways away and blinked. Oh, duh- there were always the overcareful ones, the ones who would do a genjutsu break every few steps to make sure they weren't caught in anything. It wasn't the Repetitive Walk that they had broken, luckily, but the same concept applied.
"Hmh...there's a genjutsu-trained shinobi nearby...how're your chakra sources? Naraske?" The exhausted blond murmured, breaking the tora handsign to rub at his eyes. Still only faded hues and dark shapes. He grumbled, realizing only about half of his chakra was sucessfully replenished.
